On the 7th of April 2022, the Industry Advisory Board of the Munich Institute for Robotics and Machine Intelligence (MIRMI) of the TUM met in Munich. Franz Hero, SAP's Head of Digital Supply Chain Development, presented on the topic of resilient sustainable, and customer-centric supply chains, covering some of the most challenging topics in our networked economy. He did not only show how SAP helps companies to build sustainable and resilient supply chains, but also discussed potential areas for future research. SAP also participated in discussions between academics and business representatives in smaller breakouts on advancements in research e.g. Physics-informed Machine Learning. Thanks to all the PhDs of MIRMI who presented impressive demonstrations of MIRMI's research.
