SAP supports MCube, the Munich Cluster for the future of Mobility in Metropolitan Regions, and joined the kickoff on the 20th & 21st of January 2022. The keynote was presented by Maria Tsavachidis at EIT Urban Mobility about social goals and adjacent problems in mobility entrepreneurship and the role of European networks. It was followed by a close-up look into the innovation funding landscape of Munich by Michael Masnitza of the start-up ChargeX, about what works, what doesn’t, and how innovation can benefit more than just the top 5%. SAP's Sebastian Wagner talked about the challenges and trade-offs of upscaling E-mobility vis-a-vis sustainability and the role of smart energy strategies. Other speakers have been Melanie Grötsch of Landeshauptstadt München, Prof. Dr. Klaus Bogenberger, and Prof. Dr. Miranda Schreurs of TUM.
