SAP Business AI Guest Lecture at the TUM School of Management

Students at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) School of Management were recently introduced to the transformative power of AI through a guest lecture by SAP on “Unlocking Business Value with SAP Business AI.” Hosted by Prof. Dr. Jens Foerderer and Tobias Kircher, the event featured speakers Darwin Wijaya and Nadine Schollmeyer.

The lecture showcased SAP’s innovative use of Generative AI, emphasizing tools like Joule, SAP’s AI copilot, which significantly boosts efficiency by saving 15 minutes per invoice and creating job descriptions 90% faster. The session included a lively discussion on user trust in AI and the quality of different language models.

Darwin Wijaya praised the students’ insightful questions and expressed optimism about the future of AI. He highlighted SAP’s role in democratizing Business AI as Europe’s only Fortune 50 Global Tech company.

The event inspired students to explore advanced technologies crucial for future interdisciplinary roles, such as AI project managers.
