On March 2nd, 2023, we had the head of the German Operation Research Society’s Supply Chain Management Section and Professor at the Technical University of Munich Martin Grunow as a special guest speaker. Professor Grunow, who is renowned for his research in developing analytical approaches for supply chain management, presented on the topic of Using Machine Learning for Scheduling Manufacturing Operations Under Uncertainty. The session, attended by more than 150 SAP experts, provided an exciting opportunity for those interested in the intersection of machine learning and supply chain management, highlighting a key area of collaboration between SAP and TUM.
