In a recent guest lecture at the TUM Sustainability Campus Straubing, Paul Dietrich from NTT DATA Business Solutions Germany, together with Daniel Atzesdorfer and Melissa Lawrenz of SAP, gave students an interesting insight into practice and discussed how the latest scientific findings and recommended guidelines on Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) tracking are implemented in practice. They explained the challenges companies face and how appropriate IT solutions can help to account for and even avoid greenhouse gas emissions.
They also highlighted the importance of co-innovation and collaboration on sustainability solutions for companies and their partners, including working with research institutes such as the Technical University of Munich.
