From October 14th to 18th, students of the introductory module of the Bachelor in Management & Data Science program at the TUM Campus Heilbronn had an incredible opportunity to engage with real-world business challenges. SAP, a global leader in business software, provided in-depth real-world insights for a business case study, which was supported by the SAP & TUM Industry-University Collaboration.
SAP’s Svend Wittern, Global Vice President for New Business & Industries Strategy, delivered an enlightening session. He demonstrated how megatrends require the continuous evolution of SAP solutions. His presentation focused on how SAP understands the diverse business needs of different industries and models. By translating these needs into cutting-edge IT solutions, SAP continues to drive innovation.
This interaction not only enhanced TUM students' understanding of the dynamic nature of business and technology, but also demonstrated the critical role of strategic foresight in the technology industry. The students left the session inspired and equipped with practical knowledge and ideas. This business case study exemplifies our commitment to integrating practical experience with academic learning to provide a well-rounded educational experience.
